Privacy Policy

Who we are

MeetOrg (Logique Idéale Inc.) provides a platform for discovering outdoor events, registering for free or paid outings, coordinating rides, and managing organizer payouts.

Information we collect

• Account details you provide: name, email, password (stored securely by our auth provider), profile photo, bio, and role (participant or organizer).
• Event activity: registrations, ride preferences, messages between participants, reviews, and organizer content you publish.
• Payment data: ticket amounts, currency, and payment status processed through Stripe. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on MeetOrg servers.
• Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language preference.

How we use information

• Operate your account and deliver event registration, messaging, ride coordination, and receipts.
• Process payments and organizer payouts where enabled.
• Send transactional email such as confirmations, password resets, and verification links.
• Maintain trust and safety: moderation, abuse reports, and audit logs where required.
• Improve the product through aggregated usage and feedback you choose to submit.

Sharing with service providers

We use trusted processors to run MeetOrg:

• Supabase (hosting, database, authentication, file storage)
• Stripe (payments and Connect payouts)
• Email delivery providers for transactional messages

These providers process data on our instructions and under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

Signed-in users can export their data, deactivate an account, or request deletion from the account privacy tools in the dashboard. You may also update profile fields at any time.

If you are in Quebec or another jurisdiction with privacy laws (including Law 25), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us at support@meetorg.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Retention

We keep account and transaction records as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. Deactivated accounts retain certain audit records; deletion removes personal identifiers where the product supports it.

Security

We use HTTPS in production, row-level security on database tables, and server-only storage for sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Children

MeetOrg is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of MeetOrg after changes means you accept the revised policy.
